With ../uts and ../psm we use the solaris ld cross linker now except for the
genassym and ctf related items where it is still x86 based. But now with
starting the ../cmd/mdb work it was either hack on the makefiles (since there
is no seperate linker call) or do the gcc config thing now. We choose the
latter knowing you've been down that road before :) As you know it gets a bit
more involved is when something has pieces on both the host and target and its
make is not setup for that. More details shortly. Tom
