Frankly, I think things would be simple enough to just work on the one 
main tree.  Perhaps merge this patch with your branch and then shlep it 
into the trunk or the like.  Then we'll just all work out of the Polaris 
trunk until it's time to make a move to mercurial.  We want to get 
things out to you guys as soon as we possibly can... hopefully within a 
week or two.

Yep, like I said, we're flexible... per Martin's suggestion, we'll patch 
your branch and send a tarball.
