Yes, eventually. The last brainstorming on the whole GRUB2, multiboot,
OF support, etc revealed that fully fledged GRUB2 may not be necessary
(at least at this stage) since its functionality is easily emulated in the OF
itself. One can load both multiboot program and boot archive from any
boot media and then pass the control to the multiboot. Boot menu and
other fancy stuff that GRUB2 usually does may be missing, but other
workarounds (like Forth menu) can be applied if needed. Sven Luther
went to look at depth at what it takes from SmartFirmware to make it working.
