Just update my progress concerning booting since it may be related to the
discussion. I am able to build the ufsboot and inetboot (basically nfsboot)
elf binary and just this morning, a bug in the psm/promif interface was
found and fixed and now the inetboot.elf binary can be loaded by ofw and
enter into bootstrap. it print some debug info on the black screen and
finally trapped, which I need further debugging. the code in psm and stand
are portable and hopefully in another couple of week, a nfs bootstrap will
be setup. If that, I find no reason to use grub since ofw and solaris have
all we need and they are much more stable.

The only downloadside of this is that I tested this on a power mac g4 and I
am waiting for my approved EFIKA board to test it. I also need some time to
clean it out and check in repository. But if you would like first test this
in an ODW, please let me know.
