this is from the prepare_suspend_to_disk event-script, so you did either
not change the event variable correctly or you did not restart the daemon
afterwards.
Or there is another bug hidden somewhere ;-)

Yes, it is a paranoia check for vanilla, but if you follow Holgers 
instructions, it should be disabled.
