sedikit tanggapan dari saya,
first of all, terima kasih atas balasannya.
Secondly, soal bantuan kbri untuk beberapa events PPI
hal ini sudah saya apresiasi secara eksplisit di
posting saya pertama. I think it's better off that any
good deeds appreciated by others instead of by
ownself, if conventional virtues are to be followed.
having said that, KBRI cannot and should not boast of
too much of what it has done to PPI and PPI cannot and
should not boast of too much of what good things PPI
has done to KBRI. nonetheless, we are a small
community in india and therefore, need each other
contribution in our own way.
KBRI, in my opinion, should not feel in much superior
bargaining power than PPI and also PPI, especially the
new staff of DPP PPI, should not feel like a beggar in
front of KBRI. if PPI, especially the new head, feel
afraid and scary enough to be critical, HE IS not
worthy enough in terms of personality to be the head
of PPI.
Good relations cannot be based on boss-coolie mindset
on both side. if that happens, PPI is not worthy even
to exist.
third, being critical does not mean ungrateful. on the
contrary, it means sense of belonging, concern and a
sign of optimism of a better relation ahead. once KBRI
or PPI does not want to accept any criticism from any
side, the concern, sense of belonging and hope will
cease to exist. if this happens, especially in case of
PPI, it will be an organization with staffs without
members and programmes. the new head of PPI should
really understand this.
fourth, berkenaan dg "peraturan baru" di mana hanya
lima orang dari ppi yg diundang, tentu saja saya tahu
dan sepakat dg bapak bahwa itu semua menjadi hak
prerogatif KBRI. "lo mo gua undang ato kagak, kan
suka-suka gua". bapak dan pak dubes, sebagai orang yg
mendapat amanah negara RI di new delhi tentu saja
berhak berbuat apapun dan mau dibagaimanapun KBRI new
delhi ini.
saya sebagai rakyat cuma bertanya-tanya: mengapa
kebiasaan yg baik dan berjalan sejak dahulu kala
(every students/masyarakat are invited) itu kok tiba2
ditiadakan? alasan tempat terbatas tentu saja
illogical.
saya dan teman2 lain (di luar pengurus) sangat
berharap agar pak dubes dan pak suhadi, dll sangat
mempertimbangkan kembali keputusan baru tsb krn.
dampak negatifnya cukup banyak yg salah satunya adalah
"citra baik mahasiswa indonesia secara keseluruhan
juga akan terkena." i mean, in the long run.
for example, i've heard of yesterday night incident
when trade minister ask the students where the
response and the answer were very disappointing,
irrelevant and even ridiculous according to some
"eyewitnesses." this case, if happens again and again
could directly make a very strong and bad impression
on overall indonesian students in india.
last but not least, please consider again the policy
of limited invitation; or, if kbri cannot compromise
on this issue, just NO INVITATION at all, to avoid
worst things ever happen again in the future.
