YAMAGATA International Documentary Film Festival 2005 ( YIDFF 2005 )
Promoting better cooperation and understanding between peoples and cultures & to
encourage young filmmakers around the world.
The 9th YIDFF will be held in Yamagata, Japan , from Friday, October 7 to Thursday,
October 13, 2005. The YIDFF 2005 will accept entries for two programs; 1) the
International Competition, featuring aprox. 15 full-length documentaries from around
the world, 2) New Asian Currents, which introduces work from-up-and-coming Asian
filmmakers, and a variety of special events and programs.
