The Alliance of Independent Journalists (AJI) is
searching for the following positions:
Regional Coordinator:
General Requirements:
Relevant experience, especially with journalists and
Media
Fluency in English is a definite advantage
Willing to work extra hours and to meet deadlines
Specific Requirements
Minimum BA from relevant field
Minimum 6 years Journalist experience with several
years in management position
Good relationship with international journalists
Good knowledge of campaign, advocacy, training,
networking with other countries, especially in culture
of safety in journalism
Excellent writing skills
Knowledge of database and website management
Duties
Regional narrative and financial reporting
Organise and coordinate with the safety trainer(s)
Management of local coordinator
Organising the regional safety training and safety
information network
Organise regional safety training and information
web-site
Develop national contact point
Participate in other related safety work, i.e. survey,
handbook
