INVITATION JUST THEATRE presents a world première
THE NIGHT D.O.T. WON THE PRIZE an Indonesian cutting-edge mixed media theatre in English by playwright & director Ikranagara D.O.T. won the prize for his work as the best novel of the year, but didn't come to collect the award, instead stayed mysterious. Using shadow puppet theatre the play explores the public space of the mysterious writer through the journalistic world. To expose D.O.T.'s inner self the play uses mask theatre and stylized movements to create a total theatre reality in a biological computer space, takes us back to his youth in his birthplace when violence was the daily menu in the global political life.
