Ikranagara:
IN PRAISING MY LOVE'S BRAIN
When I said
What a beauty!
I was talking about your brain, my love
You and me
had the knowledge of biology of what made us make love last night
producing our wonderful feeling
of floating faster
and faster
riding
a spaceship
in the sky filled with galloping drum beat of human breath
as the result of the busy wiring of human brain cells
You knew it I knew too, my love
When you said you loved me
on the top of your breath while reaching the moon
the voice came from the deep inside your brain
What a beauty! I said
while kissing and kissing your forehead
The sheet was spotted wet
with the gift of nature
the milk-color light
from our moon
Didn't you hear those gentle sounds
Echoed into our sleep the minute after
It came from the clapping of the two hands of a clock on the wall
then caressing our heads and put their spell on us to a deep sleep
You knew it I knew too, my love
