KIa Motors reports 36.1 percent jump in second-quarter profit SEOUL, July 27 (Yonhap)*-- Kia Motors Corp., South Korea's second-largest automaker, said Friday its second-quarter net profit jumped 36.1 percent from a year ago. Kia earned 61.4 billion won (US$67 million) in the three months to June, compared with a profit of 45 billion won for the same period a year earlier, the company said in a regulatory filing.
