*JAL to sell more assets* Japan Airlines says it will sell more of its assets, including maintenance facilities, to help repay its massive debts and speed up restructuring efforts. The ailing carrier, which marked deficits in fiscal 2005 and 2006, says it will sell its hangars at airports around Japan. Through the sales, JAL expects to collect about 430 million US dollars, and will use the funds to pay part of its debts, which totaled about 14.6 billion US dollars as of March. The airline says it will continue to lease the maintenance facilities. It has also announced a plan to sell part of its stake in its credit card subsidiary, JAL Card.
