In Your Name All Eyes see what they see Masnavi Rumi, Leiden manuscript The tale of the Jewish king http://www.untiredwithloving.org/masnavi_vol1_324_335.html
By a request from the Cleveland Rumi Circle, the introduction of the Masnavi tale of the Jewish king (vol. 1, v. 325-335) was researched based upon the seminal work of the late Dr. Frouzanfar, may Allah rest his soul in peace and ease his journey. Rumi eloquently narrates the human condition of Diplopia, where the person sees duplicates of one object i.e. we see many different prophets and religions because we suffer from spiritual Diplopia. And he diagnoses this illness of the Nafs (Self) and recommends a cure: Avoiding anger and false-love. --DARA The Eyeless Lion
