Upon arrival at the venue of the ceremony in King Faisal Hall at the base accompanied by Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Tabuk Region, the Crown Prince was received by commander of the northern sector of the air forces Major General Homood Alshihri and senior officers. A speech ceremony was held on the occasion. In his speech, Commander of the northern sector of the air forces welcomed the Crown Prince and hailed efforts exerted by the Saudi leaders to develop the armed forces in general and the air forces in particular. In this regard, he mentioned the air forces' recent acquisition of the Typhoon fighters and modernization of the F-15 and Tornado planes. Crown Prince Sultan, then, made a statement congratulating the personnel and commending their efforts. He urged them to train well on these advanced weapons. Afterwards, Crown Prince Sultan graced the luncheon held in his honor by the command of the base. Then, he left the venue of the ceremony. The ceremony was attended by a number of princes and officials. Later, the Crown Prince left the region.
