The *Irano-Turkey* transactions exceeded well beyond dlrs 6.5 billion in the first 10 months of 2007, raising the hope of hitting the target of dlrs 10 billion annually. The transactions rose to dlrs 6.553 billion in the first 10 months of 2007, showing 16.36 percent increase. The figure was dlrs 5.631 billion in the same period the previous year. Turkey's State Statistics Institute said Turkey's exports to Iran rose to dlrs 142.436 million in October 2007 from dlrs 100.030 million in September, dlrs 107.405 million in August, dlrs 98.009 million in July, dlrs 97.538million in June, dlrs 100.607 in May, dlrs 86.095 million in April, dlrs 86.946 million in March, dlrs 118.418 in February and dlrs 80.690 million in January -- dlrs 1.029billion in total in the 10 months. While, Turkey's exports value to Iran in the first 10 months of 2006 was: dlrs 104.951 million in October, dlrs 94.223 million in September, dlrs 87.885 million in August, dlrs 80.724 million in July, dlrs 85.378 million in June, dlrs 78.177 million in May, dlrs 91.438 million in April, dlrs 74.869 million in March, dlrs 71.850 million in February and dlrs 53.181million in January -- the total figure for the 10-month period is dlrs 829.678 million. Turkey's imports value from Iran in the first 10 months of 2007 was as follows: dlrs 449.249 million in January, dlrs 488.532 in February, dlrs 463.652 in March, dlrs 622.797 million in April, dlrs 560.912 million in May, dlrs 587.226 million in June, dlrs 581.871 million in July, dlrs 522.955 million in August, dlrs 622.252 million in September and dlrs 553.942 million in October -- dlrs 5.523 billion in total for the 10-month period. Turkey's imports value from Iran in the first 10 months of 2006 was as follows: dlrs 321.198 million in January, dlrs 174.952 in February, dlrs 462.763 in March, dlrs 452.211 million in April, dlrs 510.495 million in May, dlrs 765.886 million in June, dlrs 597.555 million in July, dlrs 544.779 million in August, dlrs 599.017 million in September and dlrs 379.766 million in October -- dlrs 4.808 billion in total for the 10-month period. Estimates show that in the first 10 months of 2007, Turkey's exports to Iran was up 25.1 percent and its imports from up 14.9 percent with total value of the 10-month trade showing an increase of more than 16.36 percent. In the period, Iran's share in Turkey's imports rose by four percent and in the exports by 1.2 percent.
