Iran, Turkey to broaden all-out cooperation
Iran's Charge d'Affaires to Ankara Gholamreza Baqeri Moqaddam said on Tuesday
that the annual volume of trade exchange between Iran and Turkey has hit dlrs
eight billion.
Speaking at a press briefing with Turkish political media, he referred to
signing of an agreement between Iran and Turkey on transfer of gas and
electricity. He also underlined that within coming weeks the two sides'
delegations will hold a session to talk on implementation of the projects.
On expansion of ties with neighboring countries, he said Iran has put expansion
of ties with its neighbors on its agenda and the Turkish companies can seize
the opportunity to invest in Iran.
On the visit of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Turkey, he said the
exact date of the visit has not been fixed yet, he said.
