TOKYO, April 16 KYODO
Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda and South Korean President Lee Myung Bak are
expected to agree to expand bilateral exchanges in economic, cultural, youth
and other ''nonpolitical'' areas when they meet next Monday in Tokyo,
diplomatic sources said Wednesday.
The move is in response to a request from South Korea which wants to
promote practical diplomacy and is aimed at reinforcing the foundation of
mutual interests between the two neighbors, the sources said.
