Iran, South Korea discuss banking cooperation
Iran's Ambassador to South Korea Mohammad Reza Bakhtiari on Wednesday held
talks with the Bank of Korea Governor Lee Seongtae on matters of mutual
interest.
Referring to the long-standing relationship and broad economic and trade
cooperation between Iran and South Korea, Bakhtiari said hat banking system
plays important role in the two countries' commercial cooperation.
Bakhtiari also called on the South Korean bank to support the two sides'
economic activities.
Lee Seongtae, for his part, appreciated Iran for supporting South Korea during
its era of rapid economic growth.
In addition, he expressed the Bank of Korea's readiness for bolstering mutual
banking ties.
