Curtin Science International Innovation Scholarship The Curtin Science International Innovation Scholarship is for students enrolling in an eligible undergraduate Science course at Curtin University of Technology in 2009 and can demonstrate an understanding of their course of study and show innovative ideas relating to their future profession.
Application forms are required to be completed and Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of demonstrating innovation relating to the applicant's future profession and by choosing to study an eligible undergraduate Science course at Curtin, in 2009. Faculty: Science and Engineering Applicable to: Prospective Students Closing Date: 3 November, 2008 The Scholarship will provide $10,000 per year for the normal expected duration of the course to assist with costs associated with studying (fees, textbooks, incidental expenses etc). Applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria to be considered for a Curtin Science International Innovation Scholarship: - Be an international student and hold a valid Student Visa Higher Education (Subclass 573) - Have received a Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) in an eligible undergraduate Business course at Curtin University of Technology in 2009 - Commencing the first year of study at Curtin University of Technology, in an eligible course in 2009 Eligible science course: Bachelor of Science (Nanotechnology) Bachelor of Science (Geographic Information Science) Bachelor of Science (Astronomy) The Scholarship will be awarded by a selection panel using the following criteria: - Responses on the application form - Applicants should provide a statement outlining their "innovation" in response to questions on the application form - Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) in an eligible undergraduate Science course at Curtin University of Technology, Bentley Campus in 2009 - Academic Merit Successful applicant will be notified in January 2009.
