*** fakta memang negara yang penduduknya islam, kualitas pendidikannya sangat rendah, ini bisa disebabkan oleh ketidak stabilan politik di setiap negara yang penduduknya umumnya muslim. terlalu banyak gejolak politik perebutan kekuasaan. dan kekuasaan ini sering tidak memihak pada kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan.
di dunia islam yang disebut sebagai ilmuwan adalah ulama, dan ulama adalah orang-orang yang umumnya hanya menguasai tentang agama islam. mereka tidak mengakui ulama sebagai ilmuwan dalam bidang pengetahuan yang lain. jadi kalo seorang fisikawan pasti tidak disebut sebagai ulama. agama dan ilmu pengetahuan di pisahkan padahal dalam al-Qur'an banyak membicarakan tentang ilmu pengetahuan alam. sedangkan dalam ilmu agama pun, masih banyak perselisihan yang tidak pernah habis-habisnya dibicarakan, padahal beda pendapat itu adalah wajar, tapi yang timbul adalah perselisihan yang tidak berujung di mana satu sama lain mengklaim pendapatnya yang paling benar. umat islam sekarang telah menjadi buih sebagaimana yang diramalkan oleh nabi Muhammad tentang umatnya. umat islam banyak bertikai dengan hal-hal sepele, seperti perbedaan terhadap pemahaman ahmadiyah misalnya, terjadi pertikaian yang tidak berujung pangkal. tetapi kemajuan eropa setelah banyak dari mereka mengaui bahwa mereka tidak memiliki agama atau meninggalkan keyakinan agama mereka. kemajuan dan perkembangan agama di dunia sebenarnya harus di tinjau, bahwa perkembangan kemajuan islam lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan agama-agama yang lain, dia menembus ke negara-negara miskin dengan sangat pesat, islam bisa diterima dengan baik oleh penduduk miskin karena islam memberikan tumpuan harapan. sedangkan agama yahudi mereka merasa sangat eksklusif dibandingkan dengan islam. Dan seorang yahudi bisa convert ke islam, tapi jarang kita melihat orang beragama islam convert ke yahudi. kalo ummat islam di cap teoris karena membela negaranya, maka apa yang kita katakan kepada negara yang menyerang negara lain tanpa alasan yang jelas, dan membuat beribu-ribu umat islam dengan persenjatan hasil kemajuan technology dari negara barat tersebut. saya kira kata yang paling tepat adalah superteroris.
