Director General for Air Transportation Replaced Friday, 06 March, 2009 | 14:03 WIB TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta: Transportation Minister, Jusman Syafii Djamal, changed his echelon-one subordinates. The secretary general, H. Harijogi, was appointed as a new expert staff member for Transportation Minister while the position of secretary general is replaced by M Ikhsan Tatang. Ikhsan's previous position as Inspector General is taken by Zulkarnain Oeyoeb, who before worked as an expert staff member for economic division. Director General for Air Transportation Budhi Muliawan Suyitno, and Director General for Railways Wendy Aritenang will have new positions working for the Minister. Herry Bhakti then will take up the job of Director General for Air Transportation while Tunjung Indrawan will work at Wendy's previous position. Herry Bhakti was an expert staff member for the Minister and Tunjung was head of Transportation Planning. Spokesperson of the Transportation Department, Bambang Ervan, said the staff reform represents rotation for echelon-one officials.
