Hi,

for me this works:
\rightfooter{\pauselevel{=1}\quad\textsf{{\thepage}/\pageref{lastpage}}}

(which makes the right foot of a slide show the current and the last 
slide number (referenced with \label{lastpage}).

Important is the \pauselevel{=1} which says that the part of text following
is to be show starting from pauselevel 1 i.e. the beginning.
