Ok, I've pushed an attempt at cleaning up CFK into separate classes in its own package. I've split out some of the logic to group by functionality - effectively into modules, where we pass the CFK as a parameter. This isn't optimal, but I think on balance it is better than keeping all of the functionality in the CFK class.
