What IS your passion in life? Perhaps you immediately know what your passion is, but if you do not know, then I encourage you to take some time to figure out exactly what your passion is.
Your passion can be anything from your career, your children, a hobby, or a cause. Often times, people have something that is very important in their life, but they do not feel passionate about it. Hopefully this article will change that! Passion in an emotional sense is defined as having intensity and a driving force. What drives you? What makes you feel motivated? What makes you feel as though you are a success? It can be ANYTHING!! If you feel mostly motivated by helping others, perhaps you can find a cause that has meaning for you. Maybe you have lost loved ones to cancer. You could help raise money for cancer research and cancer prevention. Or perhaps you are an animal lover. You can volunteer some of your time to spend time with animals at a local shelter. If you feel the need to give back to others, then I encourage you to look into the millions of different causes and foundations out there. Perhaps your passion in life is your career. Except maybe you do not like your current job. If working for yourself or working in a different industry will spark passion in your life, then go for it! Figure out how you can make a new career work for you. Perhaps a cut in pay or a longer commute will be worth the happiness you get out of a great career! Perhaps your passion in life is many different things. Maybe you want to set different goals for yourself to accomplish throughout your life. Things such as running a marathon, driving across the country, or learning a new language. Your passion does not necessarily need to be a lifelong goal, it can be several short term achievements too! Also, having a passion in your life does not have to be something that others are going to look up to you for doing. It does not have to be a grand or prestigious thing. If watching every Steven Spielberg directed movie is your thing, then go for it! If you get a lot of satisfaction from doing crafts, then that is great! I encourage you to find out what makes you happy in life. We all have a passion for something, or for many things! Go out and find your passion in life! Happy Learning, Yovan P.
