Hello,

My father Henri and me have worked on the New Mersenne Conjecture. We have found all Wagstaff primes/PRP up to p=720,000. A year ago, I created a web page in order to follow the NMC status. The page is available here :

http://www.primenumbers.net/rl/nmc/

As you can see, the NMC is true up to p = 12,441,900.

Of course, you can freely link to this page.

Your comments are welcome.

Regards,

Renaud Lifchitz

Chris Caldwell asked me if anyone has worked on the New
Mersenne conjecture (see
http://primes.utm.edu/glossary/page.php?sort=NewMersenneConjecture )
His web page states it has been verified for all p < 100,000. I'm sure
this bound has been improved upon. But has anyone worked on the
last 3 or 4 Mersenne primes?

Conrad Curry had a page on the NMC, but it has been offline for a while. I took a copy off archive.org and updated it with the information I have. It is at http://home.in.tum.de/~kruppa/NMC.html
But this location is only temporary.

I will gladly host it, it would fit nicely with the Mersenne prime pages, just needs
a little filling out so folks know what the conjectures is, how to verify/disprove it.
But of course it belongs to Conrad, let's see what he says.
