I am trial factoring using Prime95, version 23.8.1, on on old 233 MHz machine running Windows 95. On the number I am working on now I am getting a series of "Incorrect factor found" errors.

I haven't found the reason for my problem yet, but the computer has probably come to the end of its useful life. However it did claim to come up with a factor this morning for the number that had given all the incorrect factor messages. Unfortunately I had reported this result to the server before I realised what had happened.

M30740051 has a factor: 11175258286831664177

In the circumstances can the result that there is a factor be relied upon? Is there a simple way of checking this result?
