Microsoft, in its infinite wisdom, removed support for Windows services
interacting with the GUI.   The solution is to either not run it as a service
or to install the Windows NT service version as was suggested by another
person.

It will be somewhere between difficult and impossible to make prime95
work as did in XP.  It is a shame, because starting prime95 at logon is much
less robust.
