I've had Prime95 running on a Toshiba Satellite A70-s213 for about 2.5 years now. I've had no problems at all with the laptop (other than the fans cut in more often than they would if Prime95 were not running).
But I will also point out that I make sure there is proper air circulation at all times, and I regularly spray out the vents and heatsinks with compressed air every two weeks. But then I do that on all of my machines, laptops and desktops alike, and regardless of the presence of Prime95.
