I have wasted a few hours (and lots of paper) now trying to get printing working with an HP PhotoSmart C6180.
I've tried adding the printer this way: System -> Administration -> Print Manager -> Add Type -> Socket Name or IP Address -> xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx Port -> 9100 Local Queue Name -> Photosmart Manufacturer -> HP Model -> HP Photosmart C6100 series Foomatic/hpijs Driver -> , hpijs 2.8.7.3 When I print a test page I get nothing at all from the printer. If I change the printer to a generic postscript or generic PCL, I just get garbage printed. What am I doing wrong? Cheers, -- Shawn Walker
