Hello all When I attempt to print large documents or a large number of pages from the evince pdf viewer the job fails. It will usually print 3 pages and half of a 4th. When I attempt to restart the job it simply doesn't respond to a request from Evince to print or any other program for that matter. There are no error messages and the print queue is empty. Logging out and back in doesn't work. I have taken to printing 3 to 4 pages at a time to work around but this is tedious, though it works.
I'm using opensolaris build 106; printing is lp manager. Printer is a Brother 1440 attached directly. Is this a known problem? Or is this likely my own setup? As always, thanks in advance. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
