As I noted in the other thread, the cups administration tools were not opening from the system menu, though the browser-based admin tool was working.
It appears that the SUNWcups-administration package does not install dependencies, particularly the SUNWpycups package. Having installed this package the system menu gui now comes up. FYI, there appears to be at least one other package in the 107 repository that did not install dependencies, SUNWcodeina. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
