Hi, After installing OpenSolaris, a HP Deskjet 3500 was detected, but it got as status 'Initializing'. I own a 3550, so I removed the 3500, and installed manually a 3550. Now its status is readay.
When I print a test page, or print in Firefox, nothing happens, and the printer queue stays empty. I tried both /dev/printers/0 and /dev/printers/1 as device, but none of these works. Can someone give me advice on this? Thanks, Matheas -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
