Whereas I can think of many examples of graphic design changes caused by
digitally aided design I can't think of any changes in the way photographers
create.
I think Bob's point may in part have been that capturing digitally doesn't have to produce a new digital look. One 48bit capture can be interpreted to simulate many different emulsions, the curves mapping shadow detail and so on just as a particular film might have done in the olden days.
