My iPAQ 3970 came with a built-in image viewer in the OS which does a
decent job of letting you view images - it also lets you create small
slideshows. I have my portfolio on it, to show friends etc. when I don't
have my printed portfolio on me, and the quality of the images is more
than acceptable - helped by the fantastic screen of the 3900 series, a
huge improvement over even the 3800 series.

Because of this I haven't looked extensively at any third-party viewers
but I would suggest you have a look at www.handango.com There is a huge
range of software to try and buy there for Pocket PC including the type
of app you're looking for - some will even let you edit the image.

Since you have a 3660, it would have come as standard with the older
version of Pocket PC i.e. not 2002. You may not be aware but there is
the option to upgrade your 3660 to Pocket PC 2002 as Compaq were the
first, and for a long time the only, people to make their PDA's with
flashable ROM. This officially ended at the end of 2001 but there are
still some upgrade CD's available - will cost you 35. Go to
http://www.compaq.co.uk/products/ipaq/pocketpc/upgrade.stm for details.

Go to www.expansys.com (UK based) where they sell everything and
anything to do with portable computing. You should find a USB synch
cable in here, which is meant to let you connect to a USB port on a PC
without having to use the cradle, but I can't see why it wouldn't let
you connect to the camera - you would probably have to check though.
