Subject: [PRODIG] Adobe Online install freezes Pshop 6.01

After I got PS to work again by renaming the prefs file, I (stupidly??)
tried to use adobe online again. PS freezes on startup again and
removing/deleting the Prefs file doesn't work anymore AAARGH!!! If I
remember correctly, I clicked on "Top Issues" and it locked up-crashing the
whole system several times. Obviously something other than just the Prefs
file is stuffed.
I'm now getting ready to uninstall/reinstall PS.
As I haven't had to do this before:
Should I use PS 6.01s uninstall, Windows uninstall or Norton Systemworks
uninstall?
Any files in PS that I should backup that I might not know about or
forgotten? ie like Adobe Gamma settings, plug ins for the wacom/penpallete
etc. or will I just have to reinstall all that stuff too?
Athlon 1600XP, 512mb DDR,Windows98SE, Photoshop5.5 with upgrade to 6.0/6.01,
Wacom Intuos 2.
Do I need to reregister with Adobe again?
Please help!
