Hi List I'm having a real problem trying to get my Linotype Saphir Ultra 2 flatbed running successfully under OSX.
* Linocolor in Classic cannot see the scanner. * Silverfast running as a photoshop7 plug-in in OSX can see/initialise the scanner, but then can't make it do anything. * Vuescan can drive the scanner in OSX, but slowly, & I'd rather use one of the two above solutions. The scanner works fine with Linocolor in OS9. I'm running a 450 G4, with a Adaptec 2906 SCSI card & I'm using to the latest OSX driver. I have another SCSI device that works fine with OSX - so is this a driver issue? Has anyone managed to achieve this, or got any suggestions as to what I could try next?
