Hi Has any one else encountered problems with Kodak on the service front? We have recently purchased a Kodak Pro-back and our first back broke down and so had to be sent to germany for repair. Our loan back also developed a problem but this has been temporarily fixed.
A new back arrived and this had also stopped working. I spoke to certain personnel at kodak who informed me that i should send the back for repair to their UK repair centre - Fixation. I have spoken to Fixation and they informed me that they only repair 35mm cameras, not pro-backs! I was then informed by kodak some time later that they have a new UK service company and so i re-routed my back to them. I spoke to them today and they informed me that as they do not carry many parts that the back would have to return to germany for repair! My camera broke last saturday and i have only now been informed that it now has to go to germany for repair! Can any one suggest a good contact at Kodak that can help me in my dilemma?
