Hi Shaf,

not sure why papers could effect the impressions of metamerism. I would
suspect that the paper type will contribute to the way the ink sits / is
absorbed by the paper. This in turn could effect 'orientation' of the
molecules of colourant - which in turn could effect colour. Could also be
added effects of things like swellable polymer papers. Not sure if
fluorescing agents would contribute to the ink colour changing per se.

However, if the end result is odd colours in different lighting conditions,
then I think it's fair to call it metamerism , even if the cause may
physically be refraction or goodness knows what else???

My original comment regarding paper&ink was biased as much by reports of
some users with some inks saying it was much less noticeable with certain
ink - paper combos.
