Here's a suggestion, which I know won't work everywhere. You save your original RAW .nef or .crw or whatever files to CD and then always clean up the dust specs and dropped pixels before delivery to client right ? Go back to the originals and use the dust specs etc as a "finger print" of your camera. You can show that these appear countless times on adjacent frames or shoot another to prove they match. Of course with the perfect camera there won't be any dead pixels or spots....just thinking aloud. -- yours Tim Andrew
