You seem a little unclear as to your camera models here (I'm not trying to be rude, so please don't take this the wrong way) but the Fuji S1 would be a step down from the other camera's you mention. The Canon 1D would be a sideways step (its aimed at a completely different type of photographer to the others IMO), the D1X would be a step up. I would say that there is no real comparison between those three models, they all have completely separate markets. Perhaps you have just mixed your model numbers up, an easy thing to do, I admit. Also you should consider the two new players, the Kodak Dcs14n and the Canon 1Ds.
