That's assuming the Mac has OS 9 installed. If not, then logging in as root
should do it. Full info on the Apple site on how to log in as root. Just
don't be tempted to do anything else once you're logged in as root.
Also, silly question but have you done a Get Info on it and unlocked it in
the dialog box? I had some files that the Trash refused to delete and when I
changed their read/write options, I was able to delete them.
