[PRODIG] Fuji S2 Raw converter

Hi All

We've been experimenting with an S2 and so far its ok converting raw files on my mac (G4 800), on another (G4 733) the converter Software tells us the files arent supported and on an G4800 imac it takes about 2 hours to convert 20 files (15 mins on mine) only variable was that the imac and consequently the S2 went to sleep...does this affect processing times??

also shock horror, when our chappie disconnected the camera without first ejecting the card ...an easy mistake to make, the images were destroyed and the card needed reformatting.(1gig microdrive) is this also a common problem if it is, its a bit of a worry if we put a couple of these into the hands of photographers in a rush.

Other than that, I am pleased to say that the first tests against velvia 35mm (OK not the most neutral of films) are very encouraging, the S2 seems to have as much and subject dependant, more detail i.e 'cleaner images' and not too many stray artifacts...it does however show up the softness of some lenses.
