[PRODIG] cannot open jpegs

I sometimes screen grab my quotes and convert to jpeg in pshop when I think there may be communication problems. (Used to work for me). Trouble is, this method seems now to cause problems. I heard somewhere (possibly here) that photoshop creates slightly off standard jpegs that other apps cannot necessarily read.

OSX>PS7>save jpeg (no profile)>mail>attach one at a time (no compression)> cannot be opened by ibook.

Any ideas?
