Thanks to Mike Russell for posting that link to do with the potential power
supply problem. Since my S2's serial number falls within the range
specified, I just called Fuji, but they said not to send it in unless it
develops a fault: "Otherwise we'd be inundated with thousands of cameras,"
or words to that effect, which might muck up their office party...
This doesn't inspire me with confidence - if I've set up a shoot with
models and rented location, say, I'll be wondering when the thing's going
to pack up...
Yes Mike, somewhat to my surprise I found Bob Rigby had a few S2s, and got
mine two weeks ago - at the "standard" discount price, too. So far,
impressed but finding it difficult to get the focus right - autofocus
sensors seem to be off, and the finder image is so small that focussing in
dim light is tricky. Fuji's bundled download software is slow - roll on
Macbibble. Anyone suggest the best firewire card-reader?
