Hi Guys

I'm afraid I'm not writing with any advice that is going to fix your
problem. I also had the same problem as Mark (problems with edge
sharpness) and got the glass holder which fixed the problem and I have
never had any problems with Newton rings. I have the glass holder that
takes strips, as opposed to the rotating one that takes single frames
and is a darn sight more expensive!

Which holders do you both have - strip or single? If both the latter
then maybe there is a problem with that holder, if the former then I
have no answers as mine works very well.

Feel free to give me a call if you want to run any questions by me on
how I'm using it. Best number will be my mobile - 07831 675773.

Kind regards

Duncan Lawson
