Is anyone out there a Canon EOS-1Ds user?? I heard on the grapevine there were about 150 in circulation in the UK. If so what do you think ? The reviews at www.dpreview.com sound impressive...
I have been waiting for the Kodak DCS pro 14n to arrive, but since its delay I've been wondering if the Canon is a better bet. There does not seem to be any in-depth reviews of the 14n to be found on the web that feature photographers who have actually used it out. Sure the Canon's more expensive but perhaps it is an all round better product with better support & service. "Cheap can be expensive" - not that either of them are on the cheap side! Has anyone experienced the procedure for fixing UK based Canon cameras? I'd be grateful to know how long they tend to take to get fixed, the comments made on prodig about Kodak customer care sound frightening!
