Seasons Greetings from all behind the scenes at Prodig.

IN THIS LETTER: holiday mail problems - 2002 summary - new for 2003.

Please do not put your Prodig email address on "auto-responder" over the holidays.
Instead just un-sub for the time you are away and re-subscribe when you come back. Thank you.

If you come back from holiday and find you are no longer receiving Prodig, it may be that your mailserver has had a problem over the holiday and your address has been un-subscribed because of it. You are of course welcome to re-subscribe if the problem has cleared.


Over the last year we have grown to around 950 subscribers worldwide.


Our new web based Archive has attracted a lot of visits from you.
Please remember that, although the Archive has a lot of protection against Spambots harvesting emails, nothing is guaranteed. So we have made it the regime to omit or obscure email addresses in the body.
Most of you have realised the merits of this and we thank you greatly on everyone's behalf.
If you have a problem with this please don't ignore it (you will get reprimanded or suffer "3 strikes and out") but contact a Listmom for help instead.


The free Items for Sale notices are proving a popular place to offer a wide range of kit. We hope you are making the sales you want or getting good responses at least.


Special Discount Offers on products for Prodig members have been another new thing. The companies taking part in this have made arrangements to donate part of discount to Prodig.

As Prodig is run on a not-for-profit basis this helps in some small ways to fund the operations and administration that go into the service.
To offer your product in this scheme please contact the Listowner directly (that's me Ed Horwich at pacificstream ;>)

Similarly the Prodig web site reaches a targeted and growing audience. If you would like to sponsor any of our future activities contact me off list.


The Prodig List has been running since February 1998. We are nearly 5 years old (but we are very mature for our age!!!).

Thank you to everyone for taking part, listening to the Listmoms, being a Listmom, spreading the word and otherwise contributing in the many ways that you do.
