Dear Jorge,
I was under the impression that there was a relatively inexpensive upgrade for about 150 for the kodak to increase the memory buffer to 1gb so that would out perform even the new upgrade for the d1x. The other issue on the canon which some people overlook is the faster flash synch speed (obviosly only useful if you work outside and need fill, though 1/250th ( cant tell if the canon has an fp mode) is not as useful as the d1x's 1/500 and 1/8000 in fp mode. And the autofocus speed is probably going to be top notch speed on the eos as well). I suppose if you buy into canon then your stuck with canon all the time. Where as with the Nikon it is looking as though you will always have 3/4 manufactorers to choose from with a large selction of Nikon lenses.
