You either need an HTML editor or learn to code. Netscape comes with a
simple HTML editor. Microsoft also used to do a free cut down version of
FronPage. I suspect there are others.

To make the link, open the page in the HTML editor and enter the text you
want the visitors to click, highlight it and then put the "actual" hyperlink
in the links box (where ever that is in the application). The help file
should tell you how to make links successfully.

Nope. You need to open the site in an HTML editor, or text editor if you
know HTML. I do all my editing in Dreamweaver but I would only recommend
buying into it if you're half serious about designing Websites. It's quite a
complex application and requires a steep learning curve.
