I agree, the fruit image is total crap, at 100% it looks like it has been
through one of those paint filters and if you look at the fabric in the
background (top edge of the image) there is some serious banding. I can't
believe Kodak have put this out. The Low-key portrait shot isn't much
better, look at the eyes and the background, really poor image quality, has
it been over sharpened perhaps? There is even a small dot just under the
models chin which they haven't taken out, looks like dead pixels.

I had entertained the idea of swapping my D60 for a Nikon D100 and getting
the 14n but if that's the image quality then my D60 knocks it for six. One
of the few instances where a product half the price does a better job.
